Orkut Now Comes To facebook

Yes you read it correct, With the help of a new application you will now be able to access your Orkut profile in your facebook account itself. This application brings you your very own Orkut profile to your Facebook account! You dont have to provide any login or password. All you specify is your Orkut Profile URL!

You just have to add the orkut application to your facebook profile and provide your orkut profile id and then this application will let you share your Orkut Profile, Photos, Scraps with your Facebook friends.

P.S :- This application was not developed by Facebook. The application is currently in development stage so you may find some bugs/errors here and there. I used the application myself and i was a bit disappointed (lots of ads,bugs) but you can give it a try if you use both Orkut and Facebook. Here is a link to the application.

Orkut Keyboard Shortcuts

Today I got a mail from one of our readers Shail asking for Greasemonkey Script for Orkut keyboard shortcuts. Well, there was a greasemonkey script used earlier to use Orkut with more ease.

I would like to tell you that Orkut updated keyboard shortcut feature about 1 month ago. Here is a list of keyboard shortcuts with which you can open Scrapbook, Home Page, Communities, Friends, Profile simply with some keyboard shortcuts.

Save Photo From Any Orkut Album

Since Orkut used AJAX for Albums it is difficult to save any image from friend’s album. I always use Print Screen option to save images but it wastes alot of time.

Today I found a simple method to save any picture in any of your friend’s album.

It’s a very simple task. So lets start :

If you have installed Mozilla Firefox, on the top go to Tools >> Options

A new window will pop up. In this window, click on Content and uncheck Enable Javascript and then click OK.

Now go to any Orkut album and right click on any picture and select Save Image As.

Save Photo From Any Orkut Album : Hack By Mr. Nobody

Last time I told you about a simple way of saving photos from Orkut Albums. Now you can also save photos by running a simple javascript.

Just open the photo that you want to save and run the following script in in the address bar ( Address bar is the place where you write www.orkut.com) and hit Enter.

Here I have Created a simple tutorial to show you how to login with Multiple Orkut/Gmail or Yahoo Id at the same time using Firefox Browser.This is simple hack that you will love to do if you are a Firefox Lover.By doing this you can login with Multiple Ids for any mail service.

So Here we go,

1.Right Click on My Computer-->Properties-->Choose Advanced Tab.
2.Click Environment variables button.Under System Variables section, Click new.



3.Now type this information to each textbox.

variable name: moz_no_remote
variable value: 1



4.Press ok.
5.Now Right Click Firefox icon in desktop Select Properties.
6.Add extension -p to command line(like "c:\program files\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe" -p).
As i have shown in the below screenshot,



7.Press ok.
8.Now Open the Firefox it will ask for Choose Profile.
9.Now you can Create a new Profile by clicking Create Profile Button.



10.After Creating a Profile,select any one Profile for using Firefox.



11.So by selecting Other Profile you can simultaneously login to two accounts of any(orkut,yahoo,rediff or anything else).......

Note:You can increase you Create more Profiles for accessing more than 2 accounts simultaneously.
