How-To Get Your BLOGS Site Feed Listed In Yahoo! and MSN Within HOURS, Is Easier Then You Think

BLOGS... they seem to be the talk of the Internet marketing world these days, and for good reason.

Not only do the Search Engines love them for there Content Rich pages, you also have the ability to plug your Blogs "Site Feed" into an RSS feed and then have it syndicated to thousands of websites and directories giving your content more exposure to your target audience.

RSS(Real Simple Syndication) is a very Powerful technology that has been around for quite some time and when used correctly, can build an audience overnight.

If you want a crash course on what RSS is, in more depth, since the nature of this article is to show you how to get your Blogs "Site Feed" listed in Yahoo! and MSN, I've provided a link to a page full of articles on RSS related issues. http://www.rss-specifications.com/rss-articles.htm

Now, depending on where your Blog is hosted, whether its through a free service like Blogger.com -- http://www.blogger.com or hosted on your websites server you should have a "Site Feed URL" that has the .XML extension.

This is your "Site Feed URL".

You'll usually locate it within your Settings area of Blog control center.

Here's what mine looks like as an example:
http://theiwe.blogspot.com/atom.xml

This URL is intended for a RSS News Reader, so disregard its appearance.

Once you find your "Site Feed URL", copy and paste it into Notepad because you'll need it for the next steps coming ahead.

Now, what you need to do is go and set-up an My Yahoo! and My MSN account.

I've provided the links for you below.

- My Yahoo! ==> http://my.yahoo.com

- My MSN ==> http://msn.com

It should only take you about 15-20 minutes at the most.

If you already have accounts with My Yahoo! and My MSN, read on.

This is assuming you already have your accounts set-up, so your next step is to Login to your My Yahoo! account.

When you login, you'll be taken to your Yahoo! page immediately.

What you want to do next is go look under the Yahoo! search box to the left and click on the "Add Content" link.

This will bring you to a new page.

From there, over to the right by the "Find" button you'll see an "Add RSS by URL" link, click on it.

A new window will open with a "Web Form". Simply copy and paste your "Site Feed URL" from Notepad into the web form and click on the "Add" button.

Now, you should see your Blogs name infront of you. Simply click on the yellow "Add To My Yahoo!" button and your feed will be added.

The next thing you should see is your "Site Feed" with your "Headlines".

Click on one of them, it should take you to your Blog, to the desired Headline you chose.

Your My Yahoo! page should Now have your Blogs "Site Feed" Headlines listed at the bottom.

Scroll down to check. If you don't see them, it sometimes takes up to 24-48 hours for them to appear, so just check back later.

Now that thats done, everytime you update your Blog with NEW content, it'll "Automatically" update on your My Yahoo! page and everybody else's pages who have subscribe to your feed, plus, within 24-48 hours your feed will get Spidered and Indexed by Yahoo!.

Talk about getting the word out in a HURRY with very little effort on your part.

This is "Viral Marketing" at its Best in my mind.

And... it's so simple to implement.

Okay.

Now it's time to do the same to your My MSN account as what you did above to your My Yahoo! page.

Here's the link to go login(click on Sign In from main page): http://www.msn.com

Once your login to your My MSN account you should see an "Add Content" link under the MSN logo to your left. Click on it.

A pop-up should now be displaying. Simply copy and paste your "Site Feed URL" from your Notepad into the web form provided and click the Search button(the green button with the arrow).

You should now be looking at Check Box with your Blogs name beside it. Check off your "Site Feed URL" and then press the OK button at the bottom.

PRESTO! Like magic... your Blogs site feed has now been added to your My MSN page which will then be spidered in the next 24-48 hours and Indexed by MSN.

That's the Power of BLOGS(Web-Logs) and RSS(Real Simple Syndication)combined with two Internet giants.

The only thing you have to bring to the table IS, fresh, quality content that your audience WANTS, and do it on a regular basis.

I post my articles that I write on a weekly basis, making my Blog called... The Internet Wonders Blog - http://theiwe.blogspot.com - a search engine Magnet!

You can do the same because I just showed you HOW.

In conclusion, creating BLOGS and using RSS as a vehicle to syndicate your Blogs content is a Sure-Fire way to get your content spidered more frequently by search engines and the exposure it deserves, which in turn, will build you a large audience of buying customers that TRUST you.

How to Blog and Ping

Blog and Ping is STILL a great method to still get your website indexed. (12-26-05)

1. First, create a blog, you can use either WordPress on your own servers, or get one on a blog site such as Blogger.com.

2. Second create a list of links to your website and post them to your blog every 3-24 hours.

3. After you post new content to your blog, you ping a list of ping services such as Pingomatic.com. This brings search engine spiders to your blogs a LOT faster than they would normally come.

A lot of the "gurus" out there have been telling people that blog and ping has been dead since August 05. Well, I JUST STARTED in August 05 using Blog and Ping and it worked great then and it still does today, just a little bit slower.

I can get 20 pages indexed in Yahoo in 1-2 days and then Yahoo! Slurp just indexes the whole site within about a month. Google is very random with blog and ping, but when they do come around it is really great - I am talking about 40k pages indexed in 3 days. Pages get into MSN really quick as well, not as many as Yahoo and Google but it's not a big deal because MSN doesn't send nearly as much traffic anyway.

One reason a lot of people don't start to blog and ping is because of the cost of software, well here is a free set of blog and ping programs for you:

Review of the Blogging To The Bank ebook

Most people know about weblogs, also known as blogs. What most people don't know is that you can make a nice income with a free blog.

I've been an online marketer for some time now, and not doing too bad. After hearing about how some people are making money with blogs, I needed to know what the fuss was all about. After all, I paid a decent amount of money to have my website, onlinefortunes.biz, built. These people are earning an income with a FREE blog!

I did some research and found out that, with the possible exception being "Bloggers Guide To Profits", there were no quality information products with solid content about making money with blogs. I purchased the "Bloggers Guide To Profits" ebook and actually made some money. Not a lot, but it was worth the effort I put into it. Considering most of my time and effort goes into my website the blogs did okay.

Then I ran into "Blogging To The Bank" by Rob Benwell.

I immediately bought a copy and read the whole thing the same night. What I liked right away was the tone in which the book was written. This guy isn't a "guru" (although I know you're going to hear a lot about him and this ebook), so he doesn't talk "down" on you. He's really down to earth. A lot of the info was familiar territory for me because of the knowledge I got from the "Bloggers Guide To Profit" ebook. Yet I read a few things that made me ask myself: Why didn't I think of that? My blogs were already making me great affiliate profits, but I wasn't tapping into their full potential. There were topics that weren't covered (or not extensive enough) in the first ebook.

Topics like: researching and selecting a (niche) market to start off, effectively creating and placing ads on your blog and easy ways to get content.
But the chapters that impressed me the most were "Blogging SEO tips" (most people think effective Search Engine Optimization is difficult, but it's NOT) and "How to flood your blog with targeted traffic". I believe that anybody that wants to make money online (with blogs or otherwise) should know these powerful tips. Most programs or ebooks tell you about SEO but the detail in which Rob explains this, makes it no harder than following step by step instructions. The same goes for getting traffic: Plenty of info out there, but targeted traffic is not always that easy to come by.
Rob explains a few solid methods of getting targeted traffic to your blog quickly and easily. The results I got from these tips were astounding. I even applied them to my website and watched my traffic turn into targeted visitors.

The affiliate profits from my blog are now more than my website sales. Way more. And I'm confident that anybody can do this, if they can follow easy step by step instructions. I highly recommend "Blogging To The Bank" for making a solid income without any hard work. Of course there's some work involved, but like the rich say: The trick is to work smart, not hard.

How to Make Money from Your Blog Content

Writing a blog can be fun and exciting, but it can also be rewarding. If you do not know how to make money from your blog content then you need to consider implementing the following suggestions in your blog.

Make Money Tip #1 Adsense
Adsense is an incredible service offered by Google to help you make money and help others advertise as well. Basically, with Adsense you choose several ads that blend or complement the information talked about in your blog. Then, when individuals click on the ads that are present in your blog, you receive money! Best of all, Adsense is free to use on your site, so this is a great opportunity to make money without really having to do very much.

Make Money Tip #2 Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate programs are another great way to make money as well and work on the same premise of Adsense. The web surfer has to click on the affiliate website's link and when they do so they are redirected from your blog to the link they clicked on. You will get paid affiliate income for the click, and if they make a purchase when they are on that website you will get paid affiliate income again.

Make Money Tip #3 Blog Ads

Blog ads can help you make money as well. Blog ads are not too different from Adsense or Affiliate marketing, but they are in the sense that blog ads connect web surfers with advertisers. Then, when any ad placements are made a commission is exchanged.

Make Money Tip #4 Business Blog
You can use your blog to simply converse about any topic that is important to you, but you can also use your blog as a tool to help you make money. Advertise your business services; make your blog a business blog by focusing at least part of your blog on your business services. This way, you can still communicate whatever it is you need to and make money as well.

When it comes to making money from your blog you can do so easily with these tried and true tricks of the trade. Whether you utilize Adsense, affiliate marketing, blog ads, a business blog, or a combination of all of the above, you will certainly benefit and make money. Don't delay and start implementing these types of money making strategies in your blog today. Not only will you make money, but your blog will become more popular as well.

Set Up Your Own Blog Free

I've received a lot of email lately from people asking how they can set up their own blogs for family, friends, or business purposes without spending much money or hiring an expensive programmer or web developer.

Well, ask no more because I will now show you exactly how to get your own blog without dipping too far into your own pocket (if at all) and get up and running, even if you don't have your own website, hosting account, or domain name.

You basically get two choices when it comes to setting up a blog: host it yourself, or use a service that hosts the blog for you.

Each one carries advantages based on your level of skill, experience and how many options you want to add to your blog.

If you choose to host your blog on your own website, then you can pick from a number of different options, including MoveableType.org and WordPress.org.

However, if you don't want to host it yourself, you can also go to Yahoo.com, put in the term "free blog" and obtain a long list of services that will host a blog for you, either free of charge or for a fee.

Probably the best-known free blog service resides at Blogger.com

Recently purchased by Google, Blogger boasts thousands of blogs on topics ranging from ecommerce to pet manners.

Blogger enables you to set up a functional blog in about 5 minutes and start posting your thoughts, rants, or family facts with the world.

Log on to http://Spaces.MSN.com and find another free option offered by Microsoft's online service, MSN.

This service makes it a bit easier to share photos than Blogger, which requires a separate software tool called Picasa (also available from Google for free).

MSN's blogger service also seems to appeal more to individuals sharing their thoughts than to businesses trying to scare up new customers or get their links crawled by search engine spiders (another advantage of publishing a blog).

So if you're publishing the family blog, this one might offer more of the user-friendly options you need.

The one drawback to using free services always comes back to the age-old saying, "You get what you pay for!"

These free blog services come with virtually zero customer support, so if you can't figure it out on your own, good luck finding anyone to assist you.

If you don't mind paying $5 a month, you can get a full-featured weblog at TypePad.com that offers a decent level of customer support.

The blogs available here offer many more features than Blogger or MSN, but also require you to understand a bit more about blogging's more advanced features like "trackback links" and "pinging" blog directories to let them know you've updated your blog (so others can come take a look at your new material).

Regardless of whether you choose the free or paid option, using a hosted blogging solution rates best when getting started.

However, once your blog really starts to take off and you find you need more "bells and whistles," you may want to consider upgrading to a more sophisticated blogging solution.

What Does Blogging Mean?

Blog is the condensed name for a “weblog” or “web log”.

Blogging is the action you perform when you make a post to a web log or blog, comment on a previous blog post or maintain a blog. Many people who make posts to a blog on a regular basis are referred to as bloggers.

Basically, a blog is an online journal where you can post your thoughts, observations and comments about a particular topic that the weblog covers. A blog is just a simple web page that has chunks of information called posts added to them on a regular basis. Depending on how it was setup by the person maintaining the blog, the posts can be all on one page forcing visitors to scroll down, or each post will have its own individual web page. When you are blogging and visiting different blogs, you will see the most recent posts first at the top of the web page.

The Uses of Blogging

Online personal journals were some of the first blogs. Individuals used their computers and the technology of the internet to make entries into their journals rather than the traditional method of keeping a pen and paper journal. Blogs are primarily categorized as personal since many of them are online journals but today many blogs are used for a variety of purposes. Businesses are starting to use blogs as a way to provide information about their products and services. Politicians are using blogs to communicate with their constituents. Musicians and other entertainers are using blogging as a means to stay in touch with their fans as they tour. The list goes on.

Often, blogging is a way for you the individual to post a comment on a particular news item or subject such as politics, world or local news events, hobbies, entertainment etc. The topics covered in a blog are endless, and many times controversial and volatile. Sometimes one simple post can lead to a flood of additional comments and many have gone so far as to gain national attention by being mentioned in the news media.

Blogging Software and Services

Originally, blog posts are mostly text based. However, changes in internet technology and online services have given rise to other ways to make posts such as using video and audio (also known as podcasting). Now today a typical blog will have a combination of text, photos, video, and audio as well as links to other blogs and websites that are related to the topic of the blog.

Blogging has taken off and grown in popularity over the years. Now, a blog can be setup in a matter of minutes with little or no cost. There are varieties of hosting sites that will allow you to setup a blog free, and many web hosts now offer ways to quickly and easily install a variety of blogging software such as WordPress or MoveableType.

Along with quickly setting up a blog, many of the free online blogging services easily provide ways to allow you to make video and audio posts on your blog. They also offer other features such as password protecting your blog so you can keep your thoughts and feelings private, or allow only a select few in to view your blog. You are also able to pick the look or theme of your blog from literally thousands of different templates available; this is a great way to express your own individuality with your blog.

One of the most widely used free blogging services today is Blogger.com, which is owned by Google. In three easy steps, you can setup your very own blog and start expressing your thoughts and views to the world. After you setup your blog, you can make posts to it at any time day or night. The blogging services today are so easy to use and you do not need to have any technical knowledge of HTML or any other web coding language. In fact, if you can use a word processing program such as Notepad or MSWord, you can start blogging today.

How Blogging Benefits You

Blogging has been mostly been used for personal thoughts, professional observations, political rants, and entertainment reviews. However, there are so many more reasons to start blogging. One of the biggest benefits I have found is staying connected with my family and friends. I live on the west coast but grew up on the east coast. Through blogging, my family and I are able to stay connected and share things even though we live thousands of miles apart. We can share photos and post videos and audio files that let us remain a part of each other’s lives.

Through your blog, you can share with the world your thoughts about any topic you like. Having a blog is one of the easiest ways to stay in contact with others and communicate with others who have the same interests that you do. Everyone has something to say and wants to be heard when they say it. Blogging allows you to share your experiences, joys, laughter and pain. With a blog, you can find answers to your questions, learn new, exciting and wonderful things, comfort a friend or be comforted at times. Remember, the benefits that can come from having a blog are as wide and varied as the different topics that a blog can cover.

How to make money with Facebook fan page in a superb way!

Hi Friends! Here I am going to tell you how to make money with Facebook fan page. I am not talking about playing games, developing applications etc. I am talking about doing it in an impressive manner and that works forever.

You have two ways to do it. First you have your own product/service/subscription OR you are offering a CPA offer. It does not matter, if you have your product, website, blog or not. If you do not have any even then you can make huge money with facebook fan page. If you already have a website then its ok otherwise you can promote a CPA offer to make money. Visit any website that offer CPA products to promote or have affiliate programs. Visit clickbank.com, maxbounty.com, ejunkie.com etc. My favourite is clickbank.com Here I am not going to tell you what is CPA offers or affiliate programs. You may do some googling about it. :)

After choosing a CPA program (or in case you have your own website & product) your first task should be to make thousands of fans for your product. Making fans begin from making thousands of friends. If you have thousands of friends on Facebook only then you will be able to make facebook fans quickly. There are so many people on the earth who make 5000 Facebook friends (maximum limit) in 7 days only. Visit Google and type '5000 Facebook Friends in 7 Days' and you are going to find very interesting results. It is not difficult. After you add 5000 Friends, you can make a Facebook Fan page.

Start suggesting your fan page to your friends and ask them to suggest it to their friends. Visit Google and type '50000 Facebook Fans in 30 Days'. It will be a great help for you if you want to add facebook fans quickly.

Now, when you have thousands of Facebook fans you can suggest them your website, product or CPA offers. Ask them to visit at your website and see what you are offering.

You should keep few things in mind:
1. If you are offering a weight lose product (e.g.) then you should create a fan page only on losing weight or being fit, otherwise you wont get targeted visitors. Only people interested in losing weight should join your fan page and thereafter they will visit your site.

2. Keep your fan page simple and spam free. Do not spam people with a link to your fan page otherwise they will report you.

3. Build relation with your fans giving them free tips on weight lose and in meantime ask them to visit at your site.

In this way, if you have thousands of facebook fans then TONS of visitors will be visiting to your website and will buy your product. There are many people (including me) who are making $500 everyday with Facebook Fan page. If they can make then you too. Visit Google and type '$500 Everyday with Facebook Fan Page'!
Gud Luck!

Thanks

Visit my website to check how I Make Money Facebook & you will learn making $500 Everyday with Facebook Fan page.
