How to upload Video in blog site, Coming Soon.
This really isn't a surprise what with New Blogger image hosting being integrated with Picasa Web Albums, but while looking at something completely different I noticed some new javascript files being loaded with the post editor.
The one that caught my attention as new is this one.

* post.video.js
*
* Handles blogger uploaded video objects inside the post editor. When the
* posting form is first loaded, we extract out all the video objects and
* store them in an associative array based on the contentId. This is the
* object that is shown in the Edit HTML mode as well as what is written out
* in the post.

It would seem that direct video uploads via the Blogger posting editor will be coming shortly.
This script appears to be for handling these coming video uploads, and how to display them in the posting editor. It appears that thumbnail images will be extracted and displayed, but if clicked on an iframe with an embedded flash player will play them. What I can't tell from poking around is if this will have it's own upload button or if it will piggyback off the current image uploading.
Of course this doesn't tell us when it's coming (days, weeks, months?) and I suppose they could change their mind (don't yell at me if they do) but it seemed obvious that this feature would be rolled out, and it appears to be coming sooner rather than later. I wonder if any other enhancements will make an appearance at the same time?
